  3. It’s been a many-years-long conviction of mine that special people often die on Special Days. And so, Elizabeth, I think that you were welcomed to the Eucharistic Feast on just the right day for you. Now, DeHority family, you might look for a special sign, a special grace, today. I’ve seen it and experienced it. God bless and console you all!

  8. May Elizabeth DeHority rest in Christ’s peace; may perpetual light shine upon her! Holy Thursday – how miraculous! Though we’d never met, her Blog inspired my life: She inspired my own motherhood journey with her tenacity, devotion, spirituality and bravery. She impacted the way I experience my own daily trials. May God bring peace and joy to your hearts as you remember your beautiful daughter, wife, mother and friend.

  9. I am a better person having known Elizabeth, even if only via this blog. Her life was a testament to her faith, my faith, which she made stronger and more real with her words and actions. Heaven may indeed be full of celebration today, for I can’t imagine even the angels being able to resist her beautiful way. Eternal rest grant unto her, oh Lord, and may perpetual light shine upon her. I wish peace and Easter sorrow then joy to the family – please know that I won’t forget ya’ll ever, and will always remember to say a prayer that those who know you, know Elizabeth, because your family reflects that genuine joy that shone through the way you lived as a family. God bless you all.

  10. May she rest in peace and may the love and compassion she shared so freely be returned to her family by others at this time x

  11. I wish I could have told her in person how much her blog meant to me and how she inspired me to be a better person. Those of you who have a pair of her prayer socks are lucky, you have a piece of her heart to look at and wear.
I will never forget you and will pray for your family.

  12. Hello, blessings to your beautiful family, I had a very strong feeling that your amazing wife, mother and friend would go to heaven this Easter, that the Lord had chosen the time for her and it was perfect and though we see through a glass darkly now and wonder why one day we will see clearly and understand. May your family be surrounded by the love of God and his earthly body the church at this time. He will carry you and show Himself strong for you all. I can not think of the words to comfort but only to express strength that Elizabeth walked in has touched so many people and our prayers are with you. I did message Elizabeth before to let her know I have begun spinning because of her blog. One day I may even knit some socks and I will pray as I knit. Today she has Joy as she stands before her Lord and rejoices in all that He has done. Thank you for the blessing Elizabeth was to me, blessings Grace
