  1. I am so sorry that things are this rough. Will be praying for you all day today and asking God to heal and give relief. Like you I don’t understand what brought this on. I’ll pray hubby gets along well getting the kids ready for school and all his responsibilities too. I pray they got this in time for you to recover quickly. Bless you.

  2. I will offer my Rosary for you today, Elizabeth. My father, too, is in the hospital with sepsis and pneumonia.

  3. Lots of prayers for you, your family, and those doctors and nurses caring for you.
Hope you can get plenty of rest so those medicines can get to work!

    Prayers and Love

  4. Prayers Elizabeth. So sorry. Remember to offer up all your sufferings.

Act of resignation to the Will of God in Death. St Alphonsus Ligouri:

O Lord my God, I now, at this moment, readily and willingly accept at Your hands whatever kind of death it may please You to send me, will all its pains, penalties and sorrows. Amen.

    – Partial indulgence at time of praying and plenary indulgence at the time of death under usual conditions (detachment from all venial sin and Sacramental confession 8 days before or after). The good thief got in right there and then with no Purgatory!

  5. Hoping that you are feeling the prayers and good thoughts flying your way from so many parts of the world. And that maybe it helps you breathe a little easier. Praying for your family as well. And that help pours out of those close by. Many, many prayers for you.

  6. Praying for you, dear Elizabeth. And offering the trials of my first week parenting 3, 3 and under alone for you. It will help me maintain my sanity to know my frustration is helping someone.

May God bring you healing very soon.

  7. Oh Elizabeth…this seems so unfair. I am so glad that you were able to manage a post and let us all say prayer upon prayer for you and your family. Imagine the hall outside your room just lined with all of us saying prayers and thinking of you. You just concentrate on that breathing and I hope that very soon it comes much easier for you. You are in good hands.
